My name is Claire Almquist Benjamin and I am passionate about helping people find optimal health in the most natural way possible. I discovered the magic of  herbs and their gifts several years back and more recently, I dove into the world of holistic nutrition and wellness. My studies in nutrition, herbs, and wellness allow me to help others in their quest for a balanced and healthful life. Recently, I completed the Holistic Wellness Pathway at Hill College. In the next year or so, I will sit for the board exams for the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP), the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), and the American Herbalist Guild (AHG). I am currently an Associate Member with the AHG.

About Tranquil Woods, LLC

My husband Mathew and I founded Glenmeadow Apothecary back in 2015.  We had a little Etsy shop where we offered handmade soaps, herbal tinctures, herbal body care products, candles and the like. We are both crafty, love foraging and making things out of items found in nature, and I was really starting to make some beautiful herbal medicines and sundries. We got married, had a baby, moved from our home on Glenmeadow Court, and I started college again. Our business evolved. We re-named our business after the setting of our new home and office, where we are surrounded by black walnut trees (and a nod to the street name we live on again!) The symbol of the black walnut in our logo reminds us of the lessons learned in the past from over-harvesting and the importance of gratitude. We must honor the earth, harvest what is offered to us with reverence, love, and gratitude.
